Abram Hatch Services Held FridayFuneral services, conducted by the Vernal LDS Third Ward bishopric with Counselor Harvey Madsen officiating, were held Friday for Abram (Abe) Hatch age 73.A well-known Utah and Colorado stockman and rancher. Mr. Hatch died Tuesday of last week at the Uintah County Hospital in Vernal following a stroke June 26th.Son of Alva A and Mary Elizabeth Nelson Hatch, eastern Utah pioneers he was born at Vernal Sept 13, 1893. A member of the LDS Church and a lifelong resident of the area.Mr. Hatch married Marjorie Wall August 7 1915 at Venal. The marriage was later solemized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.He was a member of the Ashley Valley Woolgrowers Association and the Rio Blanca Woolgrowers Association prior to his retirement in 1963.Surviving are his widow, Vernal, Three sons and a daughter Denzel A, Buena Vista, Colorado, Alva Don, Glade W. Both of Vernal, and Mrs. Marion R (Deon) Hansen, Malad Idaho. 14 grandchildren. Two brothers Lorin and Clyde Hatch both of Vernal.Proceeding the services at the Vernal Third Ward.
