Flowers left for Floy Carter
The Hamilton Herald-News Hamilton County, Texas 10 June 1976 Mrs. George N. (Floy) Carter, 71, passed away in the January Care Home in Evant on June 2, 1976. She had lived in Evant for the past four years. Mrs. Carter was born in Guion, Arl., and was a former resident of San Angelo. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services for the deceased were held Friday, June 4, at 2 p.m. in the Evant Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William R. Horick officiated. Burial was in Murphree Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, George N. Carter of Evant; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Fiest of San Angelo and Mrs. Floy Ellen Pollack of Titusville, Fla.; three sons, George D. Carter, Rhoy Carter and Wendell Carter all of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Slayton of Lubbock and Mrs. Maude Thompson of Timber, Arl.; by her twin brother, Thoy Davis of Fort Worth; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Carl Grubb, H. D. Stanford, Jim Smith, Marvin Bohmfalk and Joel Moore. Shared by Roy Ables
