Mr. Claude Brown, 83, of Route 1, Turners Station, died Wednesday, February 13 at the Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, after an illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Port Royal Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Dalton E. Brown and Robert A. Brown, both of Route 1, Turners Station; one brother, Otis Brown, Eminence; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, February 15 from Prewitt's, New Castle. Rev. John Phipps, pastor of the Port Royal Methodist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Gary Rucker, pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church. Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
