David Lee Boyd, age 87, of Westerville,Oh formerly of Stollings,W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sisters. He was a Coal miner for 43 years. Member of Aracoma Masonic Lodge #99 F&AM, of Logan,W.Va., Gideon International, McConnell Tabernacle, McConnell W.Va. and attended the First Baptist Church of Westerville. Survived by a loving Wife of 67 years, Ruby Frazier Boyd, together they raised 4 children, Walter "Pete" (Phyllis) Boyd of Winfield, W.Va., Janice (Charles) Carroll of Westerville, James (Christine) Boyd of Ipswich, England and Judith (Wayne) Fulmer of Steubenville,Oh; sisters,Iva Mae Fox, Elizabeth Wren and Joyce(Bob)Walk; nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Mollie See Boyd, 3 sisters,2 brothers and infant twin daughters. Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home,55 E. Schrock Rd.,Westerville, Friday 6-8 p.m. Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 104 S.Spring Road, Westerville, Saturday at 11 a.m. Dr. Danny Lambert officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International or Mt. Carmel Hospice. Masonic service Friday at 8 p.m.
