Will of Samuel Boone
I, Samuel Boone of the County of Lafayette and State of Missouri , do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

1st, I do will that all of just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid. 2nd, I will one third of my property after the payments of my debts to my wife Catherine Boone to hold during her life and then to go to her children Fannie Boone and Carrie Alice Boone except that hereinafter otherwise disposed of. 3rd, I will to my four sons William T. Boone, George M. Boone, Minalus T. Boone and Ira Boone, my two Berkshire hogs Betty and Dexter. 4th, I will to my two daughters Fannie Boone and Carrie Alice Boone my two cows ___head and Fluxey and their calves. 5th, I will to my wife Catherine Boone two beds and three Trunks. 6th, I will that all of my property both real estate and personal not otherwise disposed of in this will shall be sold to the highest bidder and one third of the proceeds of such sale to go to my wife Catherine Boone as above mentioned of the r_____. Two thirds to go to my six children equally William T, Manilus T., Ira, Fannie and Carrie Alice Boone. 7th, I do hereby appoint and ordain Warner T. Glover my executor to carry out the provisions of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand and seal this the 22 day of April 1871. Samuel Boone.

In Vac_____ of Lafayette County, Probate Court.
Be it enumbered that on this the 21 day of July 1871 personally appeared before the undersigned to John E. Burdeu, Clerk of the Probate Court in and for the County State aforesaid John J. Browning and William W. Tindell, the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Samuel Boone and being by me first duly sum depose and say that the said Samuel Boone the testator subscribed the same in their presence and published the said will or statement of writing as his last will that he said testater was at the time of publishing his said will of sound mind and sure his twenty-one years of age, and that they said ______ attested to the said will as witnesses hereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of said testater. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 21 day of July 1871. In witness whereof I, John E. Burdew, Clerk of the Probate Court aforesaid have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court this 21st day of July 1871. John E. Burdew, Clerk.
