Russell Ward was the husband of Verna Henneinke Ward,
my Grandmother`s Sister.
Russell Joseph Ward was born in Steele, North Dakota, a son of Joseph Calvin Ward and Iva Pearl Stroup Ward, on October 11, 1912.

He was their first son and 3rd child of 5. 3 sisters and 1 brother. He married Verna Ida Henneinke on September 8, 1936. He passed away November 13, 1987, congestive heart failure, after having bypass surgery done. He was a farmer and a carpenter. He has two children; Sharon and Virginia. Per his wishes, he was cremated. His remains stand at rest on his daughter Sharon`s fireplace mantle in Highland Village, Texas.

After his dear wife Verna passed away, their ashes were to be dispersed together on their farm land in Loda, Illinois.
