Linda Lee (Turner) Stansberry, 59, Farmersburg, Iowa, died Monday, February 27,2012, at her home. Linda was born on June 20, 1952, to Nicholas and Elva (Turner) Brincks. She graduated from Postville High School and attended NICC.

Linda was united in marriage to George Everett Stansberry on June 19, 1993. She worked as a telemarketer for Datacom. Linda enjoyed her pugs and working on her crafts for the local flea markets. She also liked to play skipbo and do suduko puzzles. Recently she was teaching crafts at scenic acres a few hours a week.

Survivors include her son; Jammie (Dawn) Martin of Colesburg, sister; Lola (Steve) Dahlstrom of Farmersburg; granddaughter, Mellyssa (Dillon) Boyd-Hutchinson of Marion, IA; four grandsons, Cody (Shoshie) Martin of Fort Riley, KS, Robert, Chase and Ryan of Colesburg, and two nieces, Rebecca (Andrew) Tueke-Knickerbocker and Nicole Tuecke.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, George Stansberry; parents, Nicholas and Elva Brincks and nephew, Charles Tuecke.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa. The Rev. Dr. Jennifer Edinger will officiate.

Burial will be held at a later date.
