Minnie Louise Vogel is the biological daughter of Louis Vogel and Marie D Van Porter as indicated on her TX Death Certificate. Minnie's Death Certificate informant, her daughter - Gladys Mozelle Fulcher Reynolds, states Minnie was born in Council Bluffs, NE, which is now Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., IA. There is a Marie D Van Porter Vogel that died in 1874 and is buried at the Old City Cemetery in Rockdale, Milam Co., TX. It is pure speculation that this Marie D Van Porter Vogel is Minnie's biological mother, but I have concluded that since Minnie was born in Dec 1873 (TX or IA) and Marie D Van Porter Vogel died in 1874, that this Marie was Minnie's biological mother. Her father's place of death and burial is unknown.

Minnie was enumerated in the 1880 Milam Co., TX census as Minnie Locklin, in the household of Alfred M and Matilda J Locklin where she was shown as age 6 and as an adopted daughter born in TX. Her parents' place of birth was not listed. In 1900, 1910 and 1920, Minnie Fulcher was enumerated as born in TX and both her parents born in Holland. In the 1930 Austin, Travis Co., TX census, when she was living with her daughter, Gladys, and son-in-law, she was enumerated as born in NE and both her parents born in Holland.

Further evidence that proves Minnie Locklin and Minnie Vogel are the same person is based on the 1910 Milam Co., TX census where Matilda (the adoptive mother) and her 2nd husband, James M Alexander, were enumerated as "Lodgers" in the household of James Theodore Fulcher and Minnie Louis Vogel Fulcher. In the 1920 Milam Co., TX Census of the James Theordore & Minnie Fulcher household, Matilda Alexander is still living in their household, but she was enumerated as the Mother-In-Law of the head of household, James T. Fulcher. Thus proving Minnie Louise Vogel and Minnie Locklin are the same person.

Minnie married, 7 Sept 1897, James Theodore Fulcher, a son of James Henry "Bud" Fulcher and Nancy Victoria Locklin.

Mother of Grace Miriam, Gertrude Louise, Gladys Mozelle and Theodore Malanethon Fulcher.

Sometime before the enumeration of the 1940 Census, Minnie married Edward Osborn "Eddie" Hurt.

Minnie died in Travis Co., TX.
