Just saying thank you for this flag that we now wave. You were an awesome General, but with the upmost respect, my 6th Great Grand Uncle was a bit better, George Washington. As well as my 4th great grandfather, Robert, and his brothers James and John who fought to make this country what it is today. But for a General you were top notch and put up a good fight.

To my Lord Charles Cornwallis, you never once hesitated to do, at any cost to yourself, that which your country had asked of you. America, India and Ireland are the better for having known your presence and your sense of fairness and right, whatever the final outcome. With respect and admiration from Mrs Lesley Robinson, Archivst of Culford School, your former Suffolk country seat.- MrsR
