Thomas Lee Bridegroom, 29, Woodland Hills, Calif., formerly of Knox, died Saturday, May 7, 2011. He accidentally fell off of the roof of his friend's four story building. He is survived by his partner of five years, the man he wanted to marry Shane Bitney Crone.

He is survived by his parents: Norman and Martha (Parker) Bridegroom; sister, Kim Butts of North Liberty; and a brother, David Bridegroom of Knox.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel at Culver Academy, Culver.
Burial was in Winamac Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the family via the funeral home.
