Lillian was from a large family, of thirteen.
She was the second youngest of the group. She was raised as a Catholic. Her parents were Rachel P. LaTarte & Albert J. St. Aubin. She first wed Lee DeMott Ellis (1892-1945), on August 23, 1926. She had 3 children with him (Jeanne, Bruce, and another daughter) and was a very young stepmother to his children. She handled it well. She was widowed and remarried, to Ray Pressel and had 1 son, & was widowed again in 1957. She was a wonderful wife, mother & grandma, with a quick wit, enjoyed reading and knitting,& was good at cooking and sewing. She knew how to be thrifty, had a lot of common sense, and gave good advice. She enjoyed helping friends and family, was a true friend, and liked socializing. She had a generous heart. She stayed close with her siblings and family. Her nickname was Billie. She smoked cigarettes, and passed away as a result of emphysema, and lung disease.
