Although you lived in a country at war with mine, you deserve a more fitting memorial. May you find eternal peace.

Official Allied figures show 3.8 MILLION German civilian deaths in WW2 against 60,000 UK and Empire civilian casualties. This was nothing short of deliberate mass killings with no justification other than mass terror. When will there be a fitting memorial?

Den Opfern eines echten Terrorangriffs von den ersten Weltterroristen, den Allierten Terrorflieger. Ruhet in Frieden

In the final analysis, it was Hitler who destoyed Germany's industrial areas. His Minister of Armaments, Albert Speer, in his Spandau Diary, where he had plenty of time to think it all over, summed up the bombing campaign as "the greatest lost battle on the German side." It was a solid lesson in the disadvantage of war.
