Patrick Nathan Prebys, 40, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away on October 7, 2004, at his home.
He was born November 27, 1963, to John Francis and Rosalie Marie Prebys in Freeport, Texas. Pat graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1982. Pat was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was longtime employee as a restaurant manager for Brians Bar-B-Q.
Pat is survived by his wife, Dee Prebys, of Lake Jackson; daughter, Katie of Lake Jackson; mother-in-law, Maria Cleary and husband, Bob Cleary, of Florida; brother, Mike Prebys and wife, Jamie Prebys, of East Bernard; sister, Carole Shelby and husband, Dave Shelby, of Angola, West Africa; sister-in-law, Sally Meemken and husband, Chris Meemken, of Lake Jackson; nephews, Kevin Sauer, Brian Sauer, Michael Shelby; niece, Sarah Shelby; and extended Faltisek and Keprta families.
Family will receive friends Sunday, 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel with the Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Mnsg. Leo Wleczyk officiating.
Pallbearers will be Keith Matzke, Brian Devine, David Novasad, Richard Novasad, Edward Novasad and Tom Novasad.
Patrick was a very loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed by those fortunate to have known him.
