Marion McCallum
Marion McCallum, age 90, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, the results of complications from a stroke suffered December 31, 2006. Marion was born November 3, 1916 to James W. and Alta Lamont, in LaVerne, California, making her a native of the Inland Empire. She graduated from University of Southern California in 1938, and throughout her life was a proud Trojan. In 1941 she married Lloyd
"Mac" McCallum and after World War II, they settled on a lemon grove in Rancho Cucamonga where they lived for the next thirty years. She and Mac had three children. She is also survived by six grandchildren. She was predeceased by Mac in 1980. She has enjoyed a life of travel, art, bridge, volunteer work for various charities and grandchildren since retiring as an art teacher at Pioneer Junior High School.
