Academy Award winning motion picture cinematographer of the 1920s through the 1970s. Won Oscars for Best Cinematography for his work on "Gone With the Wind" (1939), and "Blood and Sand" (1941). He is one of only four cinematographers to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
