Robert Charles Arnold, the son of Ruth and Richard Arnold was born in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma on April Fools Day in 1951. Perhaps because of his birthday, Bob was known for his sense of humor.

He attended Glenmont Elmentary School in Columbus, Ohio and was a graduate of Whetstone HS in 1969. As a youth, he was a Boy Scout, and carried that patriotism into his manhood. He was a Veteran of The United States Navy.

Bob had many interests, reading, cooking, fishing, and of course gardening. He was an avid supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

He graduated from The Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, Ohio with a degree in Horticulture; and was a long time and respected employee at Berns Garden Center.

Preceded in death by both is mother and father, Ruth and Richard Arnold, and his brother John. Survived by his loving wife and children; Peggy O'Niel (33 years married), Lucas, Benjamin, and Corrine; his sisters Kathryn Arnold Marcou and Christine Arnold; step mother Helen Arnold and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Craver-Riggs Funeral Home, with services at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Worthington Ohio. Family asked for donations to The American Cancer Society and or Hospice in lieu of flowers.
