George W Lindsay, a long time Milwaukee resident, died early Tuesday after an illness of about 10 years. He was 65 and had maintained his residence at a summer home at Nashotah, WI for several years. At the time of death he was living temporarily at 573 Terrace Avenue, Milwaukee, WI.
Mr. Lindsay was born at Fox Lake, WI, the son of E J Lindsay and Mrs. Celia Lindsay. In his boyhood his parents moved to Milwaukee where Mr. Lindsay attended the Milwaukee public schools and the old Milwaukee High school. Later he attended Amherst college, Amherst, Mass.
