Mrs. Minnie Cook Dies at Sturgeon; Funeral Tomorrow
Mrs. Minnie Robinson Cook, 81, died yesterday in Sturgeon. Mrs. Cook, daughter of Johnny and Parthena Roberts Robinson, was born February 16, 1874, near Renick. On January 18, 1891, she was married to Willard E. Cook who died in 1951 at the home in Sturgeon. Mrs. Cook was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Robinson, Denver, Colorado and Maurice Robinson, Centralia. Three daughters, Mrs. J. A. Parks, Clark, Mrs. E. R. Ketchum, New London, and Mrs. Archie Johnson, Columbia. Three brothers, Elmer Robinson, Sturgeon, Arthur Robinson, La Junta, Colorado, and Clarence Robinson of Moberly. Three sisters, Mrs. Dora Burton, Centralia, Mrs. R. A. Fleming, Moberly, and Mrs. Blanche Capps, Huntville; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents, three children, and several brother and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Sturgeon Baptist Church by the Rev. E. Y. Keiter, Jefferson City, assisted by the local pastor, the Rev. Monroe Hopkins. Burial will be in Centralia. The body is at the family home in Sturgeon.
