Services for Turner B. Bishop, 62, superintendent of construction and maintenance for the City of Shreveport for the past 33 years, will be held at 4 p.m. in Rose-Neath Chapel.

The Rev. Davis George, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Shreveport, Mr. Bishop died unexpectedly Friday in Roseburg, Ore. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie Rentz Bishop, and one sister, Mrs. T. L. Washburn, both of Shreveport.

Mr. Bishop was a member of First Baptist Church, the Four Square Bible Class, Lowe-McFarlane Post No. 14 of the American Legion, and Voiture No. 137, 40 and 8. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. His home was 339 Olive St.

Pallbearers include Charles Foster, Melvin Regan, Richard Herring, Clyde McAdoo, W. F. McInnis and Forrest Waldrop.
