I became good friends with Curt in 1971 when I was a senior in HS and met him when he was with the Yankees. He was a great person, a mentor to me in my athletic career in high school and college and I loved him dearly. Thanks Curt for being a part of my life. I will never forget you.

My sister, Carole Griffin graduated MHS with Curt. I was 12 years old. My sister had a large graduation party that was visited by the Mahwah Police Department. I remember seeing Curt and Herb Pelzer each carrying a keg of beer running down 3rd street. To my knowledge, they got away. Curt was nice to me and I remember him fondly.

Those were some terrific years with the O's, you and Paul Blair, what an outfield. The Orioles could sure use you now. May God continue to Bless you.

I was 13 yrs old and an avid Oriole fan when you joined the Orioles in 1965. You were my favorite player. Now at age 58, still going to Orioles games, I think of you every time I see the nos 3 on the shirt of a MLB player. Thanks for the memories and RIP

I met you after your baseball career was over. You were very nice to me and my brother. At your sister Paula's house in Beachwood, NJ you taught me and my brother how to swim. RIP

Curt, I didn't realize you had problems with pancreatitis. I was just reading up on how painful that is. I'm sorry you suffered so. Rest in peace, free of disease. You can run the bases with this little star!
