Wawaka -- JANICE E. BARHYDT, 73, died Sunday at Kendallville Manor Health Care. Born in Millersburg, she was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Delbert; four sons, David of Goshen, Dennis of Ligonier, Delaine of Millersburg and Doug of Leesburg; four daughters, Diane Harlan of Victorville, Calif., Deborah Gingerich of Kimmell, Dawn Beer of Pleasant Lake and Denise Schutt of Kendallville; a sister, Berneta Gangwer of Kimmell; 34 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Ulrey-Runner Funeral Home, Ligonier. Calling from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Burial in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier. Memorials to American Heart Association, American Cancer Association or American Diabetes Association.
Janice died two weeks after heart surgery from complications of the surgery
Janice was the daughter of David E. & Irma (Long) Price. She married Delbert Barhydt Jr. on Nov. 3, 1946 in Kimmell, Noble Co., IN.
