Chloe was the goodwill ambassador for downtown Carrollton and was a fixture at Horton's Books and Gifts, Georgia's oldest continuously run book store which was founded in 1892, on the square. She was kind of a local celebrity and appeared in the 2007 Georgia PBS presentation of Georgia Traveler, which featured her as one of the staff at Horton's.
She died Sunday at the age of 15.
