Funeral services for Oder Ezekiel Osborne, were held at the Okalhoma Chapel of Dalton-McMellan Funderal Home at 10:00 AM Thursay with Reverend Lee Bowles, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Altus, officating. Burial was in the Frederick Cemetery.

Osborne died at the Taylor Nursing Home in Altus, after a lengthly illness. He was born December 5, 1889, in Mountain Home, AR. He relocated in Coal County, OK in 1920, to Marlow, Stephens Co., OK in 1941, to Frederick, Tillman County OK in 1947 residing there until 1960 when he moved to Altus, Jackson County, OK where he was living at his death.

Osborne was a veteran of World War I and was a retired farmer.

He first married Mattie Gay Henderson #34475599 and had three children: Lois Osborne Paxton, Willie D. Osborne, and Jennie Osborne Laster. He later married Irey Dunn at Pauls Valley, OK and she preceeded him in death in 1936. Oder and Irey had six children: James O. Osborne, Robert C. Osborne, Mary Juanita Osborne Solley, Almeta Roseann Osborne Harness, Dorothy Osborne-Vickrey Boynton, and Noreen Obsorne-Vickrey Selman. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. C. F. Vickrey of Frederick and Mrs. Mary Armstrong of Grand Junction, CO, and one brother, Edmond Osborne of Fair Oaks, CA.

Music was furnished by Ruth Fondren singing "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "How Great Thou Art" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Joe Myers. Pallbearers were: Vendal Laster, Derwood Selman, Kenneth Laster, D. Laster, Kearney W. Tutton, Johnny Rhoades, and Louis Boynton.
