He was married twice, Mary with whom he had 3 children,(1 boy, 2 girls), and Adrianne "Ann" Doris Reeder Van Meter, whom he married 25 August 1987 Norfolk, Va. He worked for Revere Sugar Corporation, Redhook,Brooklyn,NY. He died of cancer on 5 March 1993. He told his than wife Ann, he would meet her under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, where they walked every summer when it was her turn, I'm sure he did. They had a great romance. You both are greatly missed Lou.
