Paris Marlow was born Wilkes Co NC 1812 and died Phelps Co 1865. He married Miss Susan Davis 1834 who was born Wilkes Co 1811 and died Phelps Co 1900.
He was 44 years old when he settled in Phelps County on 160 acres several miles north of Beulah, MO near what is now known as Mathis Hollow.
The Marlow Family Homestead, a historical home site, is located approximately 60 meters WNW of the Marlow Family Cemetery. The site is located on a northern facing slope above Whitson Hollow, in the Mark Twain National forest
