He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1960, retired from the U. S. Army in 1960 after 20 years of service. He was institutional representive for Boy Scouts of America, Troop 921, Hopewell. He was a member of and Vestryman of St. John's Episcopal Church, Hopewell. Survived by his wife, Frances T. Sargent of Hopewell and a daughter (living) in Colorado.
