Gordon was in his senior year at Liberal High School. He worked for Wells Trucking and in his earlier teens he worked for Andrade Photo Studio and operated the film projector at the Liberal Drive In and Tucker Theaters. He enjoyed telling jokes, yet his siblings rarely remember him succeeding in making it to the punch line. He had such a gentle heart, he loved life, his family and children, especially his little brother and sister. He found joy in just sitting under the tree in the front yard drinking a soda and reading a comic book. His older brother Lynton, often tells stories of how Gordon always knew what he wanted in life and was working hard toward that future. The hole that Gordon left in our hearts is only bearable by the thought of our future reunion.
