Charles William Inlow of Springdale, Arkansas died at his home in Tontitown on Saturday, Oct. 10th with his family present. He was the precious son of the Freda Evelyn Inlow and Robert Arthur Inlow, both of Healing Springs.

Charles is survived by his wife Karen, his sister Carol Jean Inlow of Healing Springs, his sons Jeff Inlow of Springdale, William Inlow of New Orleans, LA and William's wife Helen, his grandchildren Lee Inlow of Springdale and William Inlow II of New Orleans, LA, as well as other extended family throughout the region.

Charles was born in Bentonville, Arkansas on Sept. 25th, 1945 and was raised on his parents' farm in Healing Springs. After graduating high school and attending the University of Arkansas Medical School, he joined the Air Force. Charles had a distinguished and decorated career in Vietnam, serving as a Captain and Flight Surgeon, receiving the Bronze Star and other honors. Upon return to the U.S., Charles embarked upon his true passion and life's work -- a career of caring for others and saving lives spanning over 35 years. Much loved by his patients for his caring and unassuming manner, and his co-workers for his talents and commitment to enriching the lives of others, Charles will be greatly missed by all who have come in contact with him over the years.

Spending time with his family was paramount to Charles, especially spending time with his beloved grandchildren Lee and Will. He was also committed to continuing his family's tradition of farming; when not at work at the hospital, he could likely be found on the family's farms baling hay or working cattle. He always felt that it was important to maintain this lifestyle, as it served as a constant reminder to the person he really was -- committed to a life defined a tremendous work ethic, being focused on his family, and making a difference in the lives of others. For someone who led a life marked by many accomplishments and whose career presented endless complexity, these were the simple ideals that formed the basic principles of his life. He will be DEEPLY MISSED by his family.

Continuing in his tradition of helping others, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions for the Dr. Charles Inlow Cardiology Scholarship Fund. For these memorial contributions, the family has designated a scholarship fund with the Mercy Health Foundation of Northwest Arkansas. Trustees of the Dr. Charles Inlow Cardiology Scholarship Fund will be selected by the family and scholarships will be awarded to students interested in pursuing a career in Cardiology.

A memorial visitation with the family will be Tuesday, Oct. 13th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Training Center Sanctuary at Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas (1051 Pleasant Grove Rd. in Rogers).

The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 14th at 2:00pm at Fellowship Bible Church in the main sanctuary. A private inurnment committal service will take place at a later date in New Home Cemetery.

WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH CHARLES, OUR LOVE FOR YOU GOES ON AND ON AND ON....YOU HAVEN'T GONE AWAY, JUST GONE BEFORE.
