Helen Sedenia "Denie" Bennett was the daughter of Ernest Eugene Bennett and Nanny Inez Skelton Bennett. She married Lance Barrett and they had two daughters.

Denie was my aunt and I was very fond of her. I wanted to be like her and I always enjoyed visits to her home. She was a beautiful lady, very kind hearted, and very patient. I love and miss her.
