Elwood F. "Bud" Koehler, 61, of Bethlehem, died Thursday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Lucille M. Muschlitz Koehler. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary last November.

Koehler owned and operated the Koehler Sheet Metal, Bethlehem, for the past 14 years. He was previously employed at the Burkholder and the former Brandt Heating and Air Conditioning companies, Bethlehem.

Born in Hanover Township, Northampton County, he was the son of Mary S. Ritter Koehler of Hanover Township and the late Forrest Koehler. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, where he was a former captain of the dart baseball team. Koehler was a member of the Hellertown American Legion, Post #397 and the Northend Wanderers Athletic Association, Bethlehem. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Linda I. Tarbox of Emmaus and Mrs. Wanda M. Finelli of Bethlehem; four sons, Larry E. of Tatamy, Gary A. of Bethlehem, Barry J. of Topton, and Perry L. of Greer, SC; three brothers, Ronald P. of Trooper, Mongomery County, Donald M., Gerald P., and Richard D., all of Bethlehem,; and 15 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the church with the Rev. Robert C. Leith officiating. Call 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Burial will be in Macada (Altona) Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 514 3rd Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
