My grandmother Agnes Henrietta Dahlin was born on October 06, 1901 to Henry Peter Dahlin and Hannah Lind. She has four brothers Winfred Henry, Hurley William, Merlin Perry, Delmore and had five half-siblings from her father's first marriage to Christine Smith; Arthur, Ella (Dahlin) Erickson, Jessie (Dahlin) Engberg, Harvey and Russell. Agnes married Rolland Bowman Soder on April 24, 1926 in Cambridge, Isanti, Minnesota. There were four children born to this union: Wendell Claire (died at birth), Rolland Bowman, Jr., Arlene Agnes, Ruth Muriel. This first picture is of my grandma and her nephew Marshall Dahlin and the second picture is of my grandmother and three of her brothers. My parents were divorced when I was very young so the time I got to spend with Grandma Soder was very short and I left Minnesota around 1969 and lost those years to spend with her. I remember Grandma as a very soft spoken, gentle, loving woman. My daddy was like her in many ways. I remember her with much love.
