Staff Sgt. Francis Eugene Beckman, Williams Road, in Germany since February 25.
Sgt. Beckman is the husband of Mrs. Naomi C. Beckman, Williams Road, and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Beckman, 222 New Hampshire avenue. He was reported missing in a telegram today from the War Department to his wife.
He entered the service last June and went overseas in November, 1944. Sgt. Beckman was with the Fifth Division of the Third Army. Prior to entering the service he was employed as a machinist by the B. and O. Railroad here.
