George Clyde Meador, Jr., 76, of Savannah, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Memorial Medical Health University. He was born in Watauga, Tennessee, and was a veteran, having served in the US Navy in the Korean Conflict. He had formerly worked for St. Joseph's Hospital, Memorial Medical Health University, and Candler Hospital as a Phlebotomist (Lab Technician). He was a member of the White Bluff United Methodist Church, Past Master of Solomon's Lodge # 1, F. & A.M's, the Scottish Rite Consistory - Valley of Savannah, where he had participated in the Degree work, He was Installed in the Chairs of the Lodge, Chapter, Council and Commander, member of Georgia Priory, No. 39, on the rolls of the Convent General of the Order, Knights of The York Cross of Honour. He was a member and Past Patron of Laurel Chapter # 51, OES, where he had served two terms as Worthy Patron. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte McKinney Meador, Savannah, GA; son and daughter in law, Michael and Terry Meador, Savannah, GA; two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Ann and Steve Olliff, Rincon, GA; and Lisa M. Meador, Richmond Hill, GA; sister, Mackie Moss Radko, of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; five grandchildren, Mandi N. Meador, Matthew Olliff, Jayce T. Meador, Kelsey D. Olliff, and Madelleine Clark, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 7 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Wayne Moseley, officiating, and then Masonic Burial Honors will be conferred by Solomon's Lodge # 1, F. & A.M's. Hubert C.
