Robert H. Arnold, 76, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Monday, December 11, 2006 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Born May 11, 1930 in New York, Robert, a longtime resident of the Detroit area served with the Marines in Korea and is member of the Chosin Few and D.A.V Chapter 82. With the GI Bill attended the University of Detroit. Retired after 28 yrs. as Regional Manager for Sears Contract Sales division, and then spent 10 yrs. with Wilkens Floor Covering in Detroit. Robert was also a former active member of our Lady Queen of All Saints Parish in Fraser, MI for 45 years.

A devoted father and husband he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn A. Arnold (nee-Tighe), daughters Geralyn Marie Arnold of Washington, DC, Karianne (Thomas) Soulsby of Chicago, sister Dotti Arnold of Amagansett, NY, and two grandchildren, Madeline 6 and Julia 4. Sister�s in-law Frances Tighe of Detroit and Estelle Tighe of Norfolk, VA. Plus numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by sister Mary (Jack) Kubiac of Clinton Twsp, MI. Close friends of Ray and Cathy Proch and Bob and Jeanne Feskorn.
