Anderson, on May 20th, in his 65th year, a life was taken that has been rich in its fruitage of usefulness and noble endeavor -- a life that was an exemplification of the tenets of Masonry.His broad charity, his sincere advocacy of temperance, purity and honesty were characteristics of the man. He proved a faithful servant of the people, serving the highest interest of his fellow countrymen and the brotherhood of mankind with holy fidelity and unselfish devotion.Therefore be it resolved by this lodge1st. That we recognize a distinct loss to our county, in his death, of a faithful and painstaking official and an honored citizen, and2nd. That as parent, son and brother, his was a life that honored the home with a God-fearing service, mindful of the sacred duties that claim the creature's thought from his Creator.3rd. That we extend the sorrowing ones of kindred ties our deepest and tenderest sympathy, and direct that a page in our minute book be devoted sacred to his memory, and the usual badge of mourning be worn.
