Note: There have been many variations on the way Eleanora spelled her name. Her headstone has her name as "Elinora". Other variations found are Elenore and Elinore. She probably "Americanized" her name to Eleanora. I use this variation of her name as that is the way she chose to spell it. There are also variations on the spelling of her maiden last name. Documents show both Dornbusch and Dornbush. The "c" may have been dropped at some point.

The Johann Hermann Dornbusch family moved from the La Grange, Fayette county, Texas area to the Thorndale, Milam County area about 1900 when Eleanora was 5 years old. Eleanora met Willie Oswald Felfe and they married 13 Aug 1912 in Milam county when she was 17 years old. Their first child, Ernest Ramsey Felfe was born in 1913. There was a total of 10 children (2 sets of twins) born to them. After Ernest, the following children were born: Otillie Amanda, August Herman and Elfrida Mary (twins), Clarence, Esther, Walter Elmo and William Jr. (twins), Robert Lee and Erma Jeanelle. The first set of twins, August and Elfrida died 4 days after birth. Eleanora had complications from the birth of Erma Jeanelle and died within several weeks from those complications. Erma Jeanelle was taken in and raised by Eleanor's sister in law Bertha Ida Felfe Heintze. Erma kept the Felfe name.
