Services for Walter "Randy' Moss, a well-known Dallas land developer, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sparkman-Hillcrest Chapel on Northwest Highway in Dallas.
Moss, 34, died Wednesday of cancer at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
Moss was the owner of Walter R. Moss Properties, Dallas, and was responsible for developing areas around Baylor University Medical Center, parts of East Dallas, and properties in Colorado, a relative said.
In addition to purchasing land for development, Moss also was part-owner of several Dallas restaurants.
Born in Midland, Moss moved to Dallas and graduated from Highland Park High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin before entering business, said a relative.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie Moss of Dallas; parents, oilman William Moss of Dallas, and actress Jane Withers of Burbank, Calif.; sister, Wendy Moss Seal of Dallas; brother, William Moss III of Dallas; brother Kenny Errair of Dallas; and sister Kendall Errair of Los Angeles, Calif.
The family requests that memorials be made payable to the M.D. Anderson Hospital in care of the Walter R. Moss Memorial Fund.
