Bob passed away at Winchester Medical Center from complications relating to heart disease. He was 82. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the Thomas John and Leah Maude McCormick.

After forty-five years of service, he retired from Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, Maryland and moved to Hedgesville, West Virginia with his second wife. He loved the Woods Community where he lived and made many good friends while there. A generous and gentle man, he was famous for his bad puns and corny jokes.

He was an active member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Community and a 4th degree member of Council 1159 Knights of Columbus.

He was survived by his wife, daughters, Donna Rhodes and Patricia Mikula and step children. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, one brother Jim McCormick of Bel Air, Md, and one sister, Dorothy Golumbieski of Pa.
