ANDERSON — Otis Brown, 52, Anderson, passed away suddenly on Oct. 13, 2009, at Saint John's Medical Center, Anderson.



He was born Nov. 28, 1956, in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of his life.



He served his country in the US Army. He was a self-employed contractor.



Otis was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where he was involved with Children's Ministries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.



He is survived by his wife, Christine (Cooper) Brown; daughter, Alison (Matthew) George of Anderson; son, Wesley Brown of Anderson; father, Virgle Brown of Anderson; siblings, Betty England of Crossville, Tenn., R.B. (Dava) Brown of Gainsville, Texas, O. Darlene (Jim) Wall of Whiteland and Tim (Cheryl) Brown of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his mother, Hessie (Tinch) Brown; and sister, Clara Marie Raver.



Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.



Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, south chapel, with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 323 E. School St., Anderson, IN 46012.
