Hattie was born in Buffalo New York on November 16, 1936, attended school in Hamburg and Orchard Park New York. Graduating in 1955. Working for Erie Country Saving Bank. She married James E Haas on April 28, 1956 they had two children Deborah Sue and James Erwin Jr. The family moved to Denver Colorado on Sept 6, 1960 where she continued her education at Colorado University and became a teacher till her retirement in 1984. Hattie is remembered for her great dinner parties and beautiful smile. She is missed by many.
