At the age of 33 Mary married Robert Coles in RI. Mary was Robert's second wife. Robert sailed to America with the Winthrop Fleet. Robert and Mary had eight childern. Much has been written about Mary's husband in our history books. He led a colorful life. Often he was in conflict with the newly formed government and yet at times he was one of the leaders. After Robert's death Mary married Matthias Harvey and moved to Long Island.Robert Coles married (2) by about 1637 Mary Hawkshurst;
