On October 21, 1943 she was united in marriage to John Thomas Dugger and to this union three sons, and four daughters were born.
She was perceded in death by her husband, John on June 13, 1988; a son Joe Dugger; a daughter, Joyce Kay Dugger; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Ruby is survived by two sons , Jack Dugger and his wife Sharon, of Springfield, Missouri; and Jerry Dugger of Hartville, Missouri; three daughters, Judy Thompson and Gail McCune, and her husband James, all of Hartville, Missouri, and Janice Roy, and her husband, Dale, of Ava, Missouri; a sister, Mytella Sheppard, of Hartville, Missouri;two brothers, Bill Hutson, of Elderidge, Missouri, and Darrell Hutson, of Lenexa, Kansas; nineteen grandchildren ; twenty-eight great grandchildren; a number of neices and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Hartville, where she met and married John, and together they lovingly raised their family.
Ruby had made her profession of faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Hill Top Church. She loved babysetting and spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time she greatly enjoyed going to yard sales, sewing clothes, making beautiful quilts, and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden growing and canning fresh vegetables.
Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will tresure the memories she has created for her family and friends.
