Annie was a wonderful bird. She ruled the cage with love & grace. Nothing passed without her notice. She loved Zorro and when they hatched eggs, she was a kind and caring mother.
Annie would run to the front of the cage whenever she saw me. Her leg was lifted ready to step onto my finger before I could get the door open. She loved to cuddle against my breast, willing to sit there for as long as I would allow. All she wanted to do was love and be loved.
Annie never displayed any anger or temper. Her entire life was about being happy and sharing love.
Annie had been ill for many months but never gave up. I took her to UC Davis where she stayed for 3 days but they too could not find what was wrong. Almost a year later, my Dear Annie left for the Rainbow Bridge.
All creatures who knew Annie were Blessed to know one of God's sweetest birds. I thank God & his Angels every day for the Privilege of being Annie's people Mom.
