Maurice was the daughter of Eddie Poole and Jessie Bell Taylor Martin. After her father's death, her mother married a Lambert. They are buried in Pilgrim Cemetery. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She shares a stone with her husband, Crim Berry Adams. Their daughters, Doris Jeanette Adams Walston and Sybil Ann Adams Hunger, are buried in Garden of Memories. She was survived by her two daughters, Doris Walston of Nacogdoches and Sybil Hunger of Palestine; two brothers, Taylor Martin of Elkhart and Eugene Martin of Crockett; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Sunday, 3 March 1985.
