Gnadenhutten occurred the funeral of the married brother, Abraham Frey. He was
born September 3, 1765 at Shippach, Pa (now Skippack, Montgomery Co., PA). He
was married to Susanna, maiden name, Guenther on February 12, 1788, which
marriage was blessed with one son, from whom he lived to see 7 grandchildren. He
moved into this neighborhood on November 7, 1802, and first became a communicant
member on June 7, 1812. In his last sickness he longed to die soon and to be
with Christ. This wish and longing also reached its fulfillment yesterday
forenoon. Aged 68 years, 8 months, and 8 days.
