Remembering one the most effective and modest generals to ever fight in the Civil War! With the valor you shown, the respect you earned from your peers, and the sacrifices and hardships faced during and after the Civil War have only illustrated what a remarkable person you were. I am thankful to have your autograph and will not forget what a true role model you were and still are in every sense of the word. Thank you, General Anderson! Rest in Peace.

General Anderson - I hope that one day your story will be told so that your contributions to history and the Army of Northern Virginia can be honored. You never seeked fame nor had political connections that would promote your heroic deeds like other generals had. You were extremely modest and earned your promotions through your skill as a commander. It was an honor to learn about you and your life. May God bless you, General, and may you have peace.
