No doubt, you belong in the Baseball HOF. Hopefully one day the sports writers will realize that a serious error was made not putting you there. You and Ron should be pictured together as HOF members. Rest in Peace, Ken.

You were my hero in 1964! Ron Santo finally made the Hall! In his book, he said you belonged there too! So does Bill James! Unfortunately, you died too soon! There was no one to remind a new generation of your exploits as a ballplayer. I hope fans will take time to discover your career on the diamond. Hopefully Cooperstown will come calling someday!

I still have my brothers Louisville Slugger baseball bat #125 with you name stamped on it. I will treasure it always since my brothers, Randall James and Ronald Lee Hatfield, are both deceased. They played baseball with it in high school. I just checked out your stats on the internet. Very interesting to learn your were voted the Most Valuable Player in 1964. We live in Missouri and have always been St. Louis Cardinals fans.

Thank you for being such a good friend and mentor. What a wonderful man you were. What a good time we had during the Tulsa years. On the field, you were one of the best ever and should be in the Hall of Fame. Off the field, you were a gentleman and friend to all who knew you. Hope the Cardinals can bring you another championship this year. Rest in Peace.

Hit a Grand Slam in game 4 of the 64 World Series. Cards win game 4 4-3. That home run turned the series in the Cards favor. What a HIT!!!!
