PARENTS: Michael Rush and Anna (Babbit) Rush of Greene County, Pennsylvania.

SPOUSE: Samuel Ackley, married in 1852, Greene Co., Pennsylvania.

CHILDREN: Michael Rush; Francis Marion; John; Henry Wilson; Sherman; Abraham Lincoln "Abe"; Lucy Anna; and Lenora Jeanne.

PLACES LIVED: Washington & Greene Counties, Pennsylvania; Athens County, Ohio; Richland County, Wisconsin; Marshall County, West Virginia; Montgomery County, Kansas; and in 1878 arrived in Chouteau, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. The Ackley family later moved to Creek Nation and settled in Keystone (where many other homesteaders from Pennsylvania also lived). Sarah was buried in Keystone but the graves were later moved, and the Keystone Dam and Lake built where the town once stood.
