Funeral Mass for Jimmie "Jim" Warren Mahan, 58 of Skiatook, was held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville, with Reverend Richard F. Cristler officiating. Masonic service was held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home chapel, with Master of the Masonic Ceremony Jim Smryl. Pallbearers Lewis Hallomom, and Chaplain & Secretary Donnie Higganbatham. The wake service was held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville.

Interment in St. Therese Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Walter P. Hayes, David Badgley, Donnie Higginbotham, David Milster, Bill Pearce, Roy Yat, Troy Shipman and Brent Brockmeyer. Organist for the service was Katie Rackers.

Jim passed away August 13, 2012 in Avant, Oklahoma. He was born on December 15, 1953 in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina to Delbert and Dorothy (Keeton) Mahan. He exceled in his education receiving a Nursing Degree and a Criminal Law Degree. Jim married Janet Schaefer on March 27, 1986. They moved to Skiatook in 1999. Jim was the CEO of Flagship Oil and Mahan Inc. He was a member of the following organizations: Masonic Lodge, Red Cross Constantine, Knights of Columbus and a Boy Scout leader in Collinsville, Troop 44. Jim was also a member of the St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma. He achievements in the masonic lodge included, Master Mason, Joplin Scottish Rite, Bartlesville Your Rite, member of HRKTP, recipient of KYCH, Honorary legion of honor of demday, setting sovereign master of the AMD, was past master of Skiatook Masonic lodge, past Most Illustrious Grand Master of Cryptic Masons in the State of Oklahoma, member of the Scottish rite of the 32nd degree.

He is survived by his wife Janet of the home, five children: Preston Allen and wife Nisa of Tulsa; Christina Foltz and husband Jason of Warrensburg, MO; James Mahan and wife Cindi, Cory Mahan and wife Aryale, Racquel Mahan all of Skiatook; his mother Dorothy of Nevada MO; ten grandchildren and a sister Lesa Keen of Lee's Summit, MO:
He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Mahan and a sister Jan Rowland.
