MESA, Ariz. - John Edward "Jack" Allensworth, 81 of Mesa, Ariz., died Dec. 7, 1995 in Mesa. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Church Street Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ed Kneeland officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Garden Memorial Park.
Services are under the direction of West Funeral Home Inc.
Mr. Allensworth was born in Lindsay, Okla., April 10, 1914, to James Franklin and Ethel Gobel Allensworth. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II. Later, he went to work for Potash Company of America, where he retired in 1973. He moved to Mesa in 1994 to be near his daughter and family.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue Denning of Mesa; brothers, Clyde, E.B., Al and Ron Allensworth all of Roswell; and two granddaughters.
